With a teaching time of 18 hours (normally over 3 days), this course content is in line with the Health & Safety Executive (First Aid Regulations) 1981, covering the following:
Group work, theory, demonstration and most important of all practical application, this course is designed to leave you feeling confident to administer First Aid in a multitude of situations.
The Instructor will continually visually assess the 5 practical elements over 3 days, ensuring they meet the competence required.
Candidates will be invited to sit the 2 short multi-choice assessment papers (Day 1 & Day 3; when criteria has been met; they will be awarded their QCF Level 3 qualification which will be valid for 3 years.
